A Chance To Grow offers the Auditory Processing Workshop in two different formats, designed for speech/language pathologists, audiologists, educators who work with small groups including Reading Specialists and Intervention teachers, Title I, special education and paraprofessionals.

One-day Auditory Processing Workshop: The One-day Auditory Processing Workshop is designed to introduce participants to the normal aspects of processing auditory information, what happens when an auditory processing disorder is present, testing for auditory processing and JIAS options for intervention. 

The book When the Brain Can't Hear by Teri James Bellis provides a basis for understanding auditory processing challenges. Because the book is a required pre-reading for both workshops, the registration fee includes the cost of the book. The book will be shipped upon receipt of the nonrefundable registration form and payment.

Dr. Sara Cook, AUD, CCC-A is the Director of A Chance To Grow's Auditory Services and workshop presenter. Dr Cook has been working with children with auditory processing issues for 20 years.
