School-based Speech-Language Pathologist

A Chance To Grow is hiring an School-based Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team. This is a 3 day (0.6 FTE) position at a well-established Charter School in the North Metro area near Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.

Since 1983, we have been dedicated to promoting the maximum development of the whole child and adult through innovative brain-centered programs and services. We provide school-based and clinic-based services in the areas of speech therapy, occupational therapy, audiology, vision therapy, neurotechnology, and teacher training, impacting the lives of thousands of clients with disabilities and their families in the Twin Cities and beyond.

Billing Specialist

A Chance to Grow, Inc. is a non-profit agency dedicated to promoting the maximum development of the whole child through innovative, individualized, and comprehensive brain-centered programs and services.  We offer a comprehensive whole child centered model.

We are looking for a Billing Specialist to become part of our agency.  The Billing Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Home Based Services and Outpatient clinics in our organization.  

The individual we are seeking should have experience in billing claims for Outpatient and Home Based Services. This includes; insurance eligibility and benefits, compiling data for billing, billing secondary claims, tracking, and resolution of issues while working aging, posting payments, adjustments, generating patient responsibility invoices, and record keeping as required by DHS, counties and insurance companies.  This position will provide back up for the Billing Coordinator along with processing claims through MN-ITS for 3rd party billing that ACTG provides to Charter Schools throughout Minnesota.  

Required Qualifications:

  1. Ability to maintain accurate data with attention to detail.
  2. Be able to detect errors and have problem solving skills.
  3. Have knowledge of ICD10 diagnosis codes to ensure claims are paid correctly.
  4. Should be a team player with a positive attitude and a good work ethic.
  5. Be a self-starter.
  6. Ability to organize and prioritize a multitude of tasks based on workflow.
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, includes written and oral.
  8. Courteous and professional manner in contact with customers, general public and fellow staff members.
  9. High School Diploma; advanced education desired.
  10. 1-2 years’ experience in medical billing.
  11. Computer proficient (Microsoft Excel, Word and other software billing software)
  12. Fusion, Quickbooks, Home Solutions/Sansio and MN-ITS experience a plus.

Full-time Occupational Therapist 

Join our growing team. This position is a combination position with 2-days per week in a school-based setting (9-month position) and 3 days per week in an outpatient setting (12-month position).
The ideal candidate would be flexible and experienced in working with diverse populations in both the school-based and outpatient setting.

  • Ability to lift, stand, sit, kneel
  • Current CPR and First Aid

Developmental Optometrist

  • Strong desire to collaborate and work with other professionals to help provide a multidisciplinary approach for helping children and adults reach their highest potential.
