Help us build strong young minds!
A Chance To Grow is raising $40,000 to repair a damaged exterior wall adjacent to our toddler playground. Due to safety concerns, the toddlers at the Turnquist Child Enrichment Center have not been able to use the playground for more than a year. We are committed to providing a safe outdoor space where our toddlers can get the necessary physical activity to reach their full potential. But we need your help!
A Chance To Grow’s current facility was donated 20 years ago by Jerry Myers. The building once served as a sheet metal plant, but with kindness and generosity of the Myers’ family (and hundreds of community partners and volunteers), it became a place of unlimited hope for parents, children and families.
The building itself is nearly 60 years old, and despite our best efforts, there is critical maintenance that needs to be done. In addition to crumbling bricks in need of tuckpointing, the excessive snow melt has lead to water leaking into the MTS charter school classroom below.
Please help us by donating a brick to the project!
There are 400 bricks in need of replacement. We are asking for $100 per brick to help us reach our goal. Ultimately though, contributions of any size to our brick campaign will make a difference and are greatly appreciated - No amount is too small. With your help, we can repair the damaged wall, sustain the structural integrity of our building, and continue to support the health and wellness of every child that comes through our doors.
